I'll admit right out that I just skimmed the book when I received it in the mail, then I returned it. It just wasn't what I was looking for. I want a book to help me cook more wholesome meals. I didn't want the extreme that this book seems to go for. I would like to use normal foods that are easy to find instead of having to grow my own, or make my own yogurt, etc. I'm not into the "all natural" lifestyle. I'm into being healthy, but also practical and convenient. I believe you can have both; but if you like the "all natural" lifestyle, then you would probably love this book. It was well written and the authors really seemed to know what they were talking about and had great ideas, I just wasn't for me.
I love, love, love this book! Jillayne Clements & Michelle Stewart have done a wonderful job with research into how people have eaten since the begining of man. It is easy to read and incredibly inspiring! Not to mention their WONDERFUL recipes! If you're gluten intolerant, or suffering from any other autoimmune disorder, this book is a MUST HAVE!!
