The Dish and other works is a collection of short, surreal works by Daniel Barker.
'Passages' is an easing into the twisted world of the surrealist.
'The peninsula' is ocean-themed and harmoniously combines metaphysics, sport and nature.
'The edge' is a musical journey into the surreal and takes you to the edge...
'The dish' features a boy, a giraffe, an oven and some magic and is a short but highly visual piece.
This is a small volume of works that are short but complex and ideal to ponder while commuting, biding time in a waiting room or to help busy folk drift off to sleep after a long day.

About the Author
While working as a lawyer in the South West of Western Australia, I discovered the dark and mysterious world of creative writing. Equipped with nothing but a lawyer's tendency to reduce things to a written form, a series of colourful travel experiences and an unruly imagination, I dived in. Alternating between strokes, often floundering and always out of my depth, I have produced some material and I now present some of it for your enjoyment.
