Who knew that interval eating is really just intermittent fasting? While I love these two, this book left a lot to be imagined. If you want to learn how to eat better in order to live better, then try Chef Jai Scovers' book, The Hungry Chick Dieting Solution. I have lost 17 pounds. I love the section about water and the clever tricks to eat out. It is a wealth of information. I also love the section about finding your ideal weight. It is a must read. The Hungry Chick Dieting Solution might be the last dieting or weight loss book that you will ever need.

Well written and researched diet book. Heather and Terry bring a fresh and fun perspective to the IF/interval eating trend. You can't beat the results, either! Great job, Heather and Terry!

In perhaps the most crowded self-help area imaginable (diets!), this book stands out for me in a big way. I listen to Heather's podcast, and I really love the Dubrows' dynamic, so I figured I'd give this book a shot. (If nothing else, I figured I'd enjoy their writing style.) I've tried and failed to lose weight countless times (like so many others I know), and I've always been terrified of the word "fasting." I thought I'd just get light-headed and pass out or something. After all, I'm usually thinking about my next meal before I've finished my current one. Food and I have a real love-hate relationship. But because of the solid research behind it, I thought I'd try it just for a sixteen hour stretch and hope I didn't die. But I was blown away by how GOOD I felt! I could focus! No more brain fog. And I was NOT hungry. Sure, I was ready to eat when my phone alarm went off, but I wasn't ravenous and ready to gnaw my arm off. I actually felt...good. I am really enjoying the foods they recommend, and I'm making my own tweaks without feeling like I'm "cheating." I am watching my weight come down on that scale, and I'm seeing a flatter belly in the morning. I am cautiously optimistic that I can actually make this into a lifestyle. Heather and Dr. Terry, thank you for putting the time, effort and research into this diet book. I think you're going to help a lot of people lose weight and keep it off! Fingers crossed!

I love The Dubrow's!!! This book is wonderful and helpful to me. This book is more than a way to eat and be healthy; it gives specific medical info regarding the though process behind this way of eating. We can all gather a better grasp of what we are doing and why it is so helpful. I am starting this diet or way of living today and am very excited. I think there are many ways to eat/diet on the internet, However, obtaining this information from a licensed/certified medical doctor/professional makes me feel confident in its elemental make-up.
One thing I am trying to find or to get clear about is the following (which I cannot definitively find in the book):
1. What does a 16hr reset/8-hr Refuel look like?
a. I think it is clear that it’s a 16hr fast (Reset)
b. What is not super clear is the - 8hr Refuel
2. Is it that you fast for 16hrs, eat a full meal, then fast another 8hrs, then eat a full meal, then fast for 16hrs and repeat?
I need clarification!! Please and thank you bunches.
