THE SECRET OF LOVE will be published in December, 2016.

Currently, Cynthia is at work on the story of Mouette Raveneau and Justin St. Briac, her first “older” couple, who come to their tempestuous relationship with plenty of baggage, defenses, and hidden longings. HIS MAKE-BELIEVE BRIDE will be published in the summer of 2017.

Cynthia lives in northern California. She enjoys riding a tandem bike and taking road trips in an airstream trailer with her Colombian-born husband, Alvaro & their corgi, Watson. She is also devoted to her two adorable grandsons who live nearby.

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL NOVEL! I bought the bundle (Western) and the 2nd and 3rd books of the bundle tie together. They can be stand alone, but you will enjoy the cross over character's as only Ms. Wright can weave into a story. The Romance builds slow, the love making was beautifully written, not vulgar. There is suspense, intrigue and incredible character's - main and secondary. The author includes an Epilogue, but it is like a regular chapter, current,, not set year or so in the future, and that is my only complaint. I won't go into the plot, as it has been stated, but this is a wonderful story. I highly recommend not only the Western Bundle, but the Beauvisage and Raveneau Bundles as well. (ljb)

This book, to me, is reminiscent of Wright's "Surrender the Stars". Love the main characters, their fun-loving and passionate personalities, and their adventures. This book is pure love and romance!

In THE DUKE AND THE COWGIRL Shelby Matthews, daughter of Fox and Maddie Matthews, heads out to Cody, Wyoming to make a go of her father's newly purchased Sunshine Ranch. In an effort to prove her independence to her family, she tried to raise money by playing poker. When that didn't work out, she is forced to share ownership of the ranch with bored Geoffry Weston, Marquess of Sandhurst. Geoff has run off to Wyoming to escape the boredom of his life in England. After a year, he will need to return to take over familial duties and the arranged marriage to a family friend. Shelby does everything she can to run off Geoff, but nothing seems to work. Soon, instead of working against each other, they begin working together and fall in love. However, life and duty seem to want to tear them apart. Geoff must return to England and both are afraid that duty will prevail. Cyntha Wright takes us to the Wild West of 1902 and Edwardian England. Her historical details bring the time period to life. It is the time of gramophones, bicycles and new motorcars. Historical figures such as Buffalo Bill, King Edward and Queen Alexandra, and Consuelo Vanderbilt make appearances as minor characters and add flavor to the story. Wild Bill founded the town of Cody, Wyoming and built the Irma Hotel, which still stands. He took his Wild West Show across the ocean and it is various forms of this show that bring Geoff and Shelby together. An excellent follow-up to IN A RENEGADE'S EMBRACE/FIREBLOSSOM, THE DUKE AND THE COWGIRL does stand alone. As is her trademark, there are several ties to past (and future) books. Shelby's great-grandmother is Susan Hampshire O'Hara, daughter of Lion and Meagan Hampshire (TOUCH THE SUN). Shelby is often compared to the impetuous Meagan. Shelby's Uncle Ben helps her run Sunshine Ranch. Uncle Ben was first seen as the scrappy younger brother of Maddie in IN A RENEGADE'S EMBRACE. On the other side of the ocean, Geoff is the look-alike descendent of Andrew Weston, Marquess of Sandhurst (OF ONE HEART). We even get a peek at Geoff's friend, Adam Raveneau, who is also friends with Shelby's brother, Byron. Adam, descendent of André and Devon Raveneau (SILVER STORM), gets his own story in TEMPEST, with Byron Matthews as a supporting character.

Not at all what I expected from this author, of whom I've read before. This book was quite boring from the start. I did not even finish reading it!
