Overview

The Eagles: An American Band by Andrew Vaughan

“Take It Easy.” “Lyin' Eyes.” “One of These Nights.” “Hotel California.” These songs are among the most memorable ever written, and they all came from one amazing band: the Eagles. This gorgeous volume traces the history of the group from the late 1960s through to the present. Capturing the albums, the tours, the fights, the triumphs, the awards, and the remarkable freezing over of hell (otherwise known as their 1994 reunion tour), The Eagles offers a truly unique look at how the group exported the Southern California lifestyle to every corner of the world.

How can someone reccomend this book if you can't read it without a magnifying glass? Barnes & Noble needs to do something about this.

I don,t like these so called page perfect books. They only fill a third of the screen and the font size is too small to read comfortably. There is no way to increase font size.

There are some people who write books who are very smart but very boring. Andrew Vaughan makes reading a book seem like watching a movie. He encapsulates the essence of the band - both good and bad - and he's able to write objectively without being weighed down by pompous accusations or sensationalism to get sales. I wish I could go to this book signing but I'm not close enough. Anything Andrew Vaughan writes is bound to be exceptional.
