Well that was... awesome! I had a feeling it would end something like that but no one could have predicted this ending! For me there was a little confusion and I got lost in all the dialogue sometimes but I caught up. This second volume leaves me itching to know the character's backgrounds as well as what they plan to do with their futures.I think the third volume will definitely take us somewhere new and I'm eager to get my hands on it! You will not be disappointed!

The earl and the fiary is recomended for those interested in myth, manga, romance, action, and macabre books. The story is twisty and the characters are complex in background and feelings.

Pretty cover. So, with this one um, intense is what it was. And yet its quite the page turner. Art was well done here. Story continues where the first one left off of course.

This second volume is...okay. The art is beautiful and there are a few moments of believable tension, but for the most part it felt like a lot of filler. There's a LOT of internal dialogue that's basically, "Oh noes, what are so-and-so's *true* intentions?!?" You already know how it's going to turn out, so I would have liked to see a weird twist to make the quest seem a little heavier than it was. It felt more like they were just popping up to the shops to fetch themselves a magic sword...ho hum. Telling readers the characters fear for their lives/are double crossing one another, etc. doesn't matter if you can't make them *feel* it. I'll read the third volume to see how the new arc will play out, but it'll have to be much better than this one to keep me reading.

I love The Earl and the Fairy manga however I think buying this if you have a nook color would be a waste since for some reason it will not work on it.
