About the Author

My one reason for reading regency/historical books is because they resemble fairytales and Cinderella stories, those of impossible loves but somehow they manage not to turn into Romeo and Juliet. For a romance author, I’m not much of a romantic about many things but when it comes to regency/historical romance? Some people believe in Cinderella stories, Romeo & Juliet. Historical/regency novels is my fairy tale. There is a certain virginal and yet rakish tune to it that you can’t help dance to. The lure of it all led me to writing and Krystina Daryl, author of steamy historical romances was born.

I’m the last of three daughters and I live in Kenya. I also write Multicultural and Interracial romance books under the pen name of Christina OW.

What an awesome story! Melanie Monroe is sold into slavery by an evil step mother, taken overseas to England and auctioned off in a brothel. She escapes the awful man who buys her by hiding in a carriage that belongs to Christopher, Earl .of Ashworth! What follows is a pretty sexy little tale that puts our two main characters into a few sexy little scenes and a whole lot of turmoil! I loved the story and I really cannot wait for the next book in the series!!

I so enjoyed this book! The plot is fantastic and I found myself drawn into the drama as it continued to unfold. The characters are strong and their backstory grabs your heartstrings. Melanie and Christopher's journey is a wild ride and at times so wonderfully frustrating! I just kept turning page after page to find out what was going to happen next and stayed up way too late trying to find a comfortable stopping spot! I adored the ending and am so looking forward to book two! Nicely done!

The Earl’s Stowaway is the first book of a series that should be very good reading for many people. The story is complex, with well-developed characters, many interesting plot lines, and a love story that goes through a number of problems before HEA. The story has almost no spanking, but some sex and a lot about the development of the love between Christopher and Melanie, as well as the problems they face due to misinformation. My only complaint was with the ending of the book and the Epilogue, which brought back another story line, about Melanie’s missing siblings. Both leave you wondering what will happen next – which I guess is their purpose, but it left one feeling a bit incomplete.

IT’S THOSE YOU LOVE YOU END UP HURTING THE MOST This is the continuation from Mischief Impossible, but we have advanced 63 years, and now dealing with the grandson of Thomas and Nancy Wimberly. Christopher Wimberly, Lord Ashworth has been raised by his grandparents and his best friend is Nicolas Wentworth, Lord Townson. Over in America, Melanie Monroe Bronson is a pawn in her evil stepmother’s game, sold to slavery and shipped to England. From the slave auction block, escaping and hiding in a carriage of Lord Christopher Ashworth takes this story on an amazing journey of discovery, adventure, beginnings, heartache, rejection, forgiveness and back to new adventures. This is a fascinating series with unique characters, antics, witty dialog and new mysteries that are a lead to the next book, but do not really leave you with a cliffhanger. The plot is well told and keeps the pages turning. I look forward to the next book in this romantic suspenseful series.
