Having a cookbook that is for a slow cooker and being heart healthy, that to me is a recipe for delicious eats! I never seen a cookbook meant for heart health be filled with so many recipes that actually sound good and look good in the pictures. I loved the fact that the Author posted on top of the recipes that if they are Gluten-Free; Allergy-Free; Vegen; Etc. just to let everyone know what kind of recipe that is and I can see that come in handy for certain households! With recipes from Breakfast to Lunch and even Dessert, this book has something for everyone! I also loved that the Author included a Dirty Dozen and Clean Fifteen of what fruits and veggies are good and bad! My only problem with this book is what veggies are used for certain recipes, I can be a little picky with that but at the same time, it would be interesting to just see what it's like before switching up the recipe to fit my needs. Thank You to Nicole R. Morrissey for writing such a good cookbook that not only is it good for your heart but can taste great as well!!
