About the Author

Paul D. Ellner, Ph.D., taught at Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons as professor of microbiology and pathology. Dr. Ellner was a legal consultant in infectious disease as an expert witness. Other novels with include And Evil Shall Come (2010), Stranger in Time (2010), Marika (2012), and Incident in Geneva (2014). Previously published non-fiction works include The Biomedical Scientist as Expert Witness, ASM Press, 2005 and Understanding Infectious Disease, Mosby Year Book, 1992. He lives in Connecticut with his wife, Connie.
