I love this story with all of the twists and turns. There are exciting love scenes and a touching, heartfelt love story. I can't wait to read Beck, Seth, and Heavenly's story next. Then I want a story with River, Pike , Dean, and a mystery woman mentioned by Liam at the end of this story. Of course we would still get some peaks into Hammer, Liam, and Raine's life as well.

I enjoyed the plot. Love the characters in the book. The twists and turns in the book is worth it. I just look forward to reading about the other characters in the book.

This ending sequel to the series was as great as the others of the series. I am to see it end. What I love about these authors together when they write or with their individual stories is that they take you on a rollcoaster ride of emotions. I always feel apart of their stories and what a wonderful ride they take me on.

Absolutely epic finale to one of my all-time favorite series! The Edge of Dominance gives us a thorough and amazing ending to the saga of Hammer, Liam and Raine. Black, Jacobs and LaPearl certainly do know how to go out in style. Obviously you have to read books 1-3 to get here, so it is no surprise that this trio are perfect together. What I didn’t expect was a deep and meaningful look into Macen’s psyche and such an immersion into Liam’s family! Someone was bound to try one more time to fracture this group but, the story of Macen’s struggle with the past, the accusations and implications of misunderstood actions, and the self-recrimination was heart wrenching AND beautifully written. Liam has been my guy through all of this but with all the soul searching and disturbing honesty that Macen had to face, I finally felt like I understood him. His vulnerability when it comes to Raine was so much deeper than I had ever imagined, and Liam in his own way, is lost without her as well. This is simply an amazingly honest look at what a poly/MFM relationship can be like (aside from the fictional drama of course!) Raine has always been fierce in her love for these two, and while Liam may have been the one holding everything together, in the end, she is the one who saves the day. I loved Liam’s family dynamic, although it was a bit heavy on the psychic stuff (it felt a bit out of place, or maybe just a little forced in order to make the story work? Not sure exactly why it was distracting to me other than I simply don’t believe in that sort of thing and I didn’t think it was necessary to lay it on so thick at times). But to learn of his family and to have them there during such a horrific situation added a sense of safety to a household filled with so much fear. I’m not so sure I cared for how happy (understatement?) Liam and Raine were upon hearing of someone’s death. The glee was a bit over the top and a little creepy, but I guess I can understand why (not really). You knew you would get an HEA with this group, but this was more than that. These three have gone through a reckoning of sorts and needed to ride blissfully off into the sunset. I already want to read it again! I certainly didn’t have an issue with the length. I read this over 3 evenings and hated putting it down at all! The teaser at the end was perfect without needing any more follow up. Sometimes it’s nice just to imagine how it all works out. It gave the reader a chance to just wonder about the future of characters we have come to love. I am simply in awe of how well this all came together.

Explosive ending to the four part THE DOMS OF HER LIFE series! It’s just as steamy as what we’ve grown accustomed to as the series progressed, plus it has a lot of angst, intrigue and healing taking place! As submissive Raine Kendall sets out to live her happily-ever-after with her two doms, Macen “Hammer” Hammerman and Liam O’Neill, life just keeps slapping them in the face! As if what they already went through wasn’t enough, someone from Raine’s past reappears to cause another ruckus that brings the cards crumbling down around them! Just when they think they may have calmed the waters, it gets even worse, and this time, they might not be able to fix it! Will they be split up before they can embark on the best years of their life, or will the truth win out in the end and pave the way for them to ride off into the sunset together?

Wow! I have to say, that this powerhouse trio of writers, Shayla Black, Jenna Jacob, and Isabella Pearl, know how to deliver in a book. I’ve been not only a huge fan of Shayla and Jenna’s since they first burst on to the scene, but I’ve also gotten to know Isabella through this series. I’m sad to see it end. Honestly? I really want Beck and Seth to get their own book or maybe their own book series together. #TeamBeckSeth #GiveThemASeries That all being said, the best was most definitely saved for last in this series, and I was certainly hooked from the first page all the way to the very end. This one was a seat grabber for sure, and dear GAWD, these ladies can write some of the hottest kinky sex scenes I’ve ever read. Just pure magic in literary form! Our story starts about two months after Raine went through her horrible ordeal with Bill, her father. While she has been processing this through her shrink, it seems Macen hasn’t. He’s cranky, avoiding his family, and enjoying annoying others instead of dealing with his demons. Raine is left to wonder just how Macen feels about her. But just as soon as they work on a resolution to that little issue, an angry figure from Raine’s childhood comes around and stirs up a hornet’s nest so big, it would probably cover a few states.Unfortunately, someone also has it out for Macen, so their troubles just keep multiplying. Luckily, we have our friendly neighborhood surgeon/sadist to help, Dr Kenneth Beckman, Beck for short. Then there is PI Seth. The two of them, along with some other great characters, pitch in to try to help save the day. Like I said, this was easily the best book of the quartet, and trust me, they are all just amazing. And, I LOVE some of the names that got thrown around. For example…Wankstain, fu*king Gobsh*te, Di*kless pus-bubble, and my fave, dipshidiot, If you buy any book this year, buy this one, and if you haven’t read the others? you’re in for a treat, get the series, I promise, it’s worth it! I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review

This was an emotional ride...I have loved Hammer since the get go, so much guilt, mistrust, anger, fear he has held on for decades. I needed him to be happy. Raine, jeez, this powerful, strong, survivor, she also needed happiness, true love, to feel safe, family. ... they all got that dream come true. Liam was never my favorite character, I always wanted just Hammer and Raine to be together. He loved, faught, and protected her from the start, but Liam grew on me this book, it's very clear he loves them both deeply. Right now peace has settled, and all of them earn it!!!! This was fantastic, LOVED LOVED LOVED THIS, LOVE THIS SERIES!!!!! Loving, sweet, heartwarming, sexy as sin, forgiveness, redemption, loyalty, honor, trust, family...

Liam , Raine , and Macen have been through so much together and they are still holding together as a couple because they keep communicating. They thought that all their troubles were done but now someone is targeting Macen and they are going at him full force trying to destroy his family. Macen cant stand that his family could be broken apart when they have worked so hard to get where they are especially with everything that Liam and Raine have endured already. But Macen now faces his own struggles can he rely on his family or does he push them away. He climbs some very tall emotional mountains but his family and friends stick by him through the whole time. The amazing supporting cast of characters in this story really helps get you interested in wanting to know more about them and hope we hear more about these characters in the future. I was in love with the characters of Seth, Beck, River and Heavenly. I would highly recommend this book to people who have loved reading other books by Shayla Black. It did not disappoint at all. I truly hope there will be more books to come. I really wish there was more to read in these books it was were very hard to put down. I do recommend that you read these books in this series in order. I received this book as an ARC from Author

Reading the Doms of Her Life series (which I highly suggest that the series must be read in order) has been an absolutely emotional roller coaster ride through out not only the entire book but the entire series. We follow Raine, Liam and Hammer through all the trials and tribulations of their relationship. We experience their growth as characters together and individually. Their happily ever ending does not come easily and there are moments as a reader, we become so emotionally invested in the characters that we become immersed into their story and continue to crave more. Which is exactly what Black, Jacob and LaPearl do, they deliver in ever way possible. They provide the suspense that leaves the reader wondering the source of some of their troubles without being predictable, the never ending devotion they have for one another, and just when you think there's a chance there may not be a light at the end of their tunnel that are beyond their control, we cling onto hope. A perfect conclusion to a perfect series. The Doms of Her Life will forever be a series that stays with you and not easily forgotten. A series that could be read over and over again and still not get enough of this trio. A bittersweet moment to say good-bye to the characters in the conclusion but couldn't be more perfect as this book does provide closure.

Wow what an ending to this serial. It was a fantastic ending for Liam, Hammer, and Raine's story. These three have been on an emotional journey, but through it all they were there for each other. In the beginning it was Liam coming between Hammer and Raine, then it was Liam's wife and Raine's father, this time it comes full circle to someone we haven't seen since the first book. The one thing that you can expect from the beginning to end of this series is to laugh, cry, be angry on their behalf, and happiness when they come out stronger on the other side. I really loved meeting Raine's brother, once everyone gets to know him and he tries to fix what he almost destroyed, he fits in well with the group. I loved meeting Liam's parents they were nothing like I expected. His mom Bryn, was a trip and a lot of fun. I loved how she helped push them in the right direction because she is more than she seems. I hope Liam keeps his gifts. I have read a lot of books by a lot of different authors, but this is one of the few authors that once I start a book I don't come up for air. This series must be read in order. I really hope we get books for Beck, Seth, and River, but especially Beck, after all he picked on Hammer and Liam, I can't wait to see him fall. Will it be Heavenly? I loved all the books in this series but this one is by far the best. Shayla Black did a fantastic job. I have pulled for Liam in all the books. And I was glad to see he and Raine are doing awesome in this book with no jealous. Raine has the best of everything. Two men that love her and will do anything for her. She could not ask for anymore other then to find her brother. However is this a good thing or a bad? Hammer just has a lot to go through. He beats himself up over what happened to Raine with her father (in book 3) so he pulls away. How far does he get? Well that is the thing some one cause a lot of trouble for Hammer. So he soon realized that Raine is the most important thing. I laughed and cried while I was reading this book. At time I was so mad I just wanted to push someone in the book. But it all comes out. Ever last question you might have about the three of the will be told in this book. I just hope we get one on Beck.

The Edge of Dominance is book four in The Doms of Her Life Series and is definitely not a standalone. The whole series is amazing, but this book surpassed everything I wanted out of this series. This book picks up a little after the last book and lots of things have changed. Raine and Hammer seemed to have switch positions when it comes to communication. It’s now Hammer that has a problem communicating his fears and there are a lot of them. Liam and Hammer almost lost Raine and they are not taking any chances with her. Nightmares, guilt, insecurities…it’s all there in one wild ride. Nothing is ever easy with these three, so be prepared. The surprises these wonderful authors has in store for you, will literally stop your heart. It’s not an easy road, but it’s worth it…so worth it! Erotic, freeing, and beautiful are the three words that spring to mind when I think about this series. A must-read definitely!

I devoured this book in less than 12 hours! To say that I was excited for this is an understatement. Book 3 left us with a very big cliffhanger. The Edge of Dominance is beautiful and heart wrenching. The trials of life haven't stopped for Hammer, Liam, and their Raine. Their relationship faces the ultimate tests of strength and love. You will be on an emotional roller coaster of the best kind! Read this book with a box of tissues and a sham-wow- you'll need both! This was the perfect ending to the saga for this trio of characters but I'm hoping that there is more to come from this series as I felt like we were being set up to have more from Seth, Beck, and Heavenly. Kudos to Shayla Black, Jenna Jacobs, and Isabella LaPearl for a fantastic read.
