Gordon Crabtree is a man leading a double life. He is a Public Prosecutor for the State of New Hampshire. He goest through the daily grind, frustrated by a justice system that is riddled with delays, errors, and gross miscarriages of justice. He starts keeping a diary detailing the worst of these crimes, and it morphs into a manifesto. An "upstanding citizen" who gets off a child molestation charge on a technicality is his first victim. Chris Casko has written an engrossing, psychological thriller. The majority is told from the first person perspective, with some shifting of to a third person point of view for other characters. This technique is hard to pull off, but Casko does manage it very well. There were a few places where he makes the shift with out some noticeable break, which was a little confusing. Other than that, it is an intriguing story.
