Ronald W. Pies, M.D., is a pyschoiatrist affiliated with Tufts University and Harvard Medical Schools. He was raised in Patavia, N.Y, and graduated from Cornell University and Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, N.Y.Dr. Pies is the author of A Consumer's Guide to Finding the Right Psychotherapist and several psychiatric textbooks. He is also the author of Riding Down Dark a poetry chapbook illustrated by his wife, Nancy Butters.
