Amy Snyder worked at the vegetarian restaurant Real Food Daily in Los Angeles and Georgia's famous meat-free restaurant, The Grit. She writes The VegCooking Blog, which receives more than 50,000 visits per month. Most of her nearly 500 unique blog posts contain a vegan recipe and story created by Amy along with photographs that she takes in her home kitchen.

I haven't had a chance to try the recipes yet, but I was very happy to see that every recipe includes nutritional information. If you are looking to a Mediterranean diet for the health benefits, and a slow cooker for convenience, this is a huge perk that I haven't seen in other Mediterranean slow cooker cookbooks. That alone is worth 3 stars for me!

Many of the recipes seem to have minimal prep work. Overall good variety of recipes!
