Overview

The Experiment by Deborah Shlian, Linda Reid

Young, healthy students are dying at an Ivy League University—and it's up to student reporter Sammy Weintraub to find out who or what is killing them. After popular Professor Barton Converse stumbles onto a key to the mystery and is found dead, amateur detective Sammy suspects her own life is in danger and races to find the answers before she too becomes a victim. The clues point to a frightening conspiracy on campus that if not exposed could soon endanger U.S. National Security and international and global stability. And everyone on campus could be involved—including Dr. Marcus Palmer, renowned campus doctor and scientist; Sergeant Gus Pappajohn, gruff, retired Boston police detective and Campus Chief of Police; charming Dean Jeffries, the master politician of Campus Administration; and even Sammy's own boyfriend, Dr. Reed Wyndham, a researcher working at the Ultra-Modern Campus Science Institute recently built by Japan's Nitshi Corporation! Sammy and her fellow students are running out of time...can she stop the murders before it's too late?!
