The Experiment is a young adult- young teen, fantasy style of a book written about Blaise, Ash, and Dinah. As the three are enjoying their summer holiday they come across this mystery woman who invites them to take a quiz on the internet. Little do they know that someone is watching them. The test is for them to find their inner spirit animal. The kids are exciting, funny and very interesting. What they thought was innocent fun becomes more than what they bargained for and that is when the adventure begins. The style of writing for this book is exactly like how it should be. It attracts the young mind and has a meaningful message within the quirky dialogue. The literature standard is middle grade and the content is filled with fantasy, making it an excellent choice for the youngsters to read. The character development was spot on. The descriptive nature of the book was one of the strongest I have read and everything came together in a nice flow and was paced very well. I believe the author has great potential in creating powerful stories such as this one. The only thing I would improve is the cover of the book. I believe it does not reflect the rich content and storyline it holds. I recommend this book to young adult, fantasy readers.

The Experiment of Professor Polgas by Sarah Brownlee is a cute story for older kids and young teens. It has kids being able to find what their spirit animal is and becoming that animal. There is some intrigue, lots of fun adventure, and silly situations and perks being an animal. Kids will like this book.

Great storytelling of how the Morphers came to be! You don’t have to read the other two novels in order to enjoy this one. Although this is aimed to a younger teenage audience it is nice to see how the Morphers came to be. This shows how the trio came upon the experiment with Professor Polgas. This is to find out what your inner beast is. The teens are then given an opportunity to participate in the experiment. When they make this decision to be a part of this they have no idea how this will impact not only their lives but everyone else as well. After the experiment there was no direction as the hall was sabotaged. They then find out that there are others that were part of the experiment that need help too. They go on this coming of age journey. They find themselves and their animal within. There is a balance for all things. The good and the bad. They have to choose where they stand and how they will protect that. This is a fun story that will get the other books a re-read so that I can enjoy the past with the present. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and look forward to many more.

This is an excellent story for any teen, 13-16, who is starting to enjoy the paranormal stories. It centers around a group of teens and their adventures after they are invited to take a survey and what happens after that. This is in the written British English text so a few of the words are different and not misspelled. I am voluntarily leaving my honest review of this book.
