As their struggle continues over careers and relationship status, they find the clock has run out on time for them to establish the ground rules. The law has been her life for too many years. She is comfortable with what she knows - the law. But she misses his touch terribly. To ask him to leave his beloved beach behind would be the death of everything she loves about him-and he would surely come to resent her for the sacrifice.
