Sabinne 'Saber' Darrieux's father, the billionaire CEO of Frontenac Global Security has been kidnapped. His ransom is not cash in a numbered offshore account, or a briefcase of Bearer Bonds but something utterly unique, incredibly valuable, and until recently, hidden away from the world.

The kidnapper seems to know Saber very well, and knows that the next day, through her work as an elite translator she will be in the same location as the Object. She must steal the Object and deliver it to the kidnapper to ransom her father.

Adrian Steele, a British Intelligence agent has just come off of two harrowing missions. Upon returning to London for a well-earned rest, he learns that his friend and fellow agent, has been murdered in Moscow, but not before he made use of a unique Object as a mobile 'drop site' for the valuable intelligence he was carrying.

The drop site is traveling from Moscow to England. Steele insists on completing the mission to honor the death of his friend, Gerry Cornell.

At an ultra-chic quasi-diplomatic gathering in a mansion in Windsor, England, Saber and Steele meet and find themselves faced with a powerful, undeniable attraction. But at the moment, this compelling attraction is very inconvenient.

In reality they are at the mansion to check out the security arrangements -- for their own reasons -- to steal the Object, a Fabergé egg worth thirty million dollars. But who will get to the egg first?

Fabergé eggs are very famous for their unique surprises. Saber and Steele are about to be very surprised, indeed.

And when Saber clashes with Steele; more than sparks will explode!

A fast paced thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat and rooting for the romance. There is a little language that might turn you off. But keep reading. The story/plot line is worth it. The reader takes a ride with Saber and ends up with rooting for Steele as the romance smolders and the sparks fly. You'll be on a thrilling ride. I love a good suspenseful thriller with just a hint of romance. The Fabrege' Entanglement is a thriller ride that will keep you on the edge of your seat. You'll have a hard time putting this one down. Plan a quiet weekend. Or put the laundry on hold and call out for pizza. You'll be letting it all go to turn the pages. I enjoyed The Fabrege' Entanglement and look forward to more from these authors. I received a complimentary copy from I Read Book Tours.

This book is endless thrilling and oh the best I enjoyed reading this book from the first page up to the end. It is so thrilling and oh the best action book I read so far this year. I loved how smart and so quick Saber is. This girl is the bomb. She is so amazing. I loved how talented and skillful she is. She is my favorite character and Steele too. These two are so insatiable for each other. Reading this book reminds of me a James Bond movie, full of actions and intense situation. The book is beyond amazing. The only thing I do not like it is...when Saber was young and her Dad did not stop that evil situation happened to her. I am so glad that she got her revenge. If you love a suspense and mystery book that is full of action, this book is the best for me to recommend. The power of evil never last. Deception will never win.

Sabinne “Saber” Darrieux’s family became wealthy with less than honorable means. But today they run a worldwide tip of the line security business. Saber is trying to make a break from the family business and is a top of the line translator. But then her father turns up kidnapped and held for ransom. The price? At a function she is going to attend she needs to steal an Object. Adrian Steel is a British Intelligence agent that has just learned that his friend has been murdered. He decides to step up and finish his friend’s last mission in his honor. But when he gets to the party to steal a Faberge Egg with a secret hidden inside, Steel is caught off guard by the beauty of a woman at the party. To his surprise, he sees her steal the egg right before he can. What follows is a great game of cat and mouse as Saber tries to jump through the hoops to save her father. Steel is close on her heels trying to finish the case his friend died on. Added in is an attraction between both of them that at times gets in the way more than helps. I loved the romance, it was just enough without over powering the story. Then their pasts are going to make an appearance to keep things even more interesting. This is a great thriller that will keep you on your toes. I love the story and I can’t wait to read more books from both of these authors. I received The Faberge Entanglement from iRead Book Tours for free. This has in no way influenced my opinion of this book.

Being the daughter of a billionaire isn't easy, Sabinne Darieux has had to put up with threats and several times her father hired people to watch her. This time Sabinne has a different problem, her father has been kidnapped. In order to get him back Sabinne has to steal an object and deliver it to the kidnapper. Sabinne has competition though there is also a British Intelligence agent by the name of Adrian Steele trying to steal the same object. If that doesn't complicate things enough then the mutual attraction they feel for each other should. Now the question is who can get to the object first, and can they deny their feelings for one another. The Fabergé Entanglement by Lesley Meryn and Elle Brookes is an action adventure story with a great mystery at its core. This is a fast paced novel with several little sub-plots and enough twists and turns to keep you reading all night. My favorite part of this book was how it was all described, it felt like I was watching an action movie on the big screen. This book was a lot of fun and if you love secret agents or mysteries you will love it.

Rating 4.5/5 Stars! This is a superb romantic suspense with two brilliant lead characters. Sabinne Darrieux (aka Saber) is an elite translator, working around the world with some very powerful people. She's also the daughter of the CEO of a global security company and when he's kidnapped she's the one required to obtain and deliver the ransom - and she'll need to steal it to do so. Little does she - or the kidnapper - know but the same object is being sought by British Intelligence agent, Adrian Steele, as hidden in it is valuable intelligence information from an agent who was murdered in Moscow. The two meet as both set out to steal the object - and the action packed adventure begins! This is a fast paced romantic suspense. The attraction between Saber and Steele is distracting to them both but they have tasks to complete and can't afford to be distracted. The globe trotting story is a brilliant mix of danger, intrigue and romance with some laugh out loud moments, especially as the main characters interact. This is like James Bond meets Cat Woman, where both have hidden motives, they are surrounded by adversaries and not everyone is as they seem. There are plenty of twists and turns in the rapidly evolving adventure and survival isn't a guaranteed outcome.  I have no hesitation in highly recommending this to anyone who enjoys stories where the suspense definitely outweighs the romantic elements but they are still there. I look forward to reading more about these two main characters in future as I understand there is more to come!

4.25 out of 5 stars A fun and romantic spy thriller. "The Fabergé Entanglement" by Lesley Meryn and Elle Brookes is a romantic suspense story that centers around Saber Darrieux, a woman of many talents, who crosses paths with Adrian Steele and attracts his attention on several levels, especially when she prevents him from achieving his goal of retrieving a sensitive piece of information. The cat-and-mouse game that ensues spans countries and requires that layers of deception be uncovered and dealt with as each of them races against the clock, but with diametrically opposite goals. Demons from the past threaten to derail any progress they make and a successful outcome for at least one of them is far from assured, no matter what allies they find. This is a wonderfully exciting tale that pits two resourceful and charismatic people against each other in a story that continues to escalate in intensity. Exotic settings, hair-raising adventures, and a shift between cosmopolitan situations and tacky run-down environs pepper the narrative which has plenty of unexpected twists. There are some areas which are a little awkward to me, particularly toward the end when one of the villains is revealed and certain horrific elements of the heroine’s past are detailed. I was irked by the extremely short chapters and the sections with shifting points of views, and I felt that there were a few too many foreign phrases (and their translations) peppered throughout the story but I still was enthralled by the story and enjoyed the sharp witty exchanges and delicious espionage elements that were showcased. I think that this is a fun and thrilling story and hope that there are more adventures starring this intrepid and very capable pair. A copy of this title was provided to me for review.
