Deception Pass on Whidbey Island (one of my favorite places) brings a lonely librarian of 30 years old to examine her life, only to see a "pirate" sailing through the pass on a ship. Their smiles meet, and when they meet in person, they are definitely intrigued with each other. Deception on the part of Lucy-Bronwyn creates unusual problems, and deception on the part of his brother-in-law entangles them in a search for a lost piece of art. Everything an ordinary woman could want to see in a book is here for her enjoyment!
