The Fall of the House of Usher and Other Short Stories was a phenomenal book. It should receive four stars because it keeps you interested, it is very well written, and you feel like you are actually there in the story. The Fall of the House of Usher and Other Short Stories is one of Edgar Allan Poe¿s books of short stories. The stories are eerie, suspenseful, bizarre, and kind of repetitive. His stories are murder mysteries, or they are about characters with unnamed diseases that go crazy. The stories usually take place in New York City during the mid to late 1800s.
If you like Sherlock Holms, are interested in Psychology, or like to read about diseases then Edgar Allan Poe¿s short stories are for you. These stories are hard to comprehend on the account of his colorful vocabulary. So, Young Adults and Adults, this book is for you. Small children probably should not read his stories because of the gruesome things that occur in his stories.
