Fans of steamy vampire romances will love the second book in the Kith and Kynn series by award-winning author Devyn Quinn!

"If you're looking for a wild ride, this is it!" --Romantic Times

"Emotional, provocative and downright titillating. I had chills from the very first page and I still get them just thinking about the story. A Recommended Read." --Dark Angel Reviews

A century ago Adrien Roth was an Amhais, a hunter of vampires--until he was captured by the very beasts he despised and forced to become one of them. Fighting his new dark instincts, he has since roamed the earth seeking revenge against the creatures who ruined him. As his quest finally nears its end, he discovers a breathtaking woman who can redeem his soul: a beautiful mortal named Cassie Wilson. But loving Cassie could mean abandoning his hunt--or taking her down with him.

Cassie is full of life and determined to take pleasure from every moment. When the vibrant beauty meets the mysterious Adrien, she doesn't hesitate to open herself to him completely, despite his unwillingness to reveal the dark secret that haunts him.

Unwilling to live in fear, Cassie will experience the ultimate sexual awakening in Adrien's arms and discover a sensual bliss beyond her wildest imaginings. And as the two become lost in a shadow world of delicious desire and surrender to the powerful passion that consumes them, a sinister confrontation looms that will force them to risk everything for a sexual ecstasy worth any price.

This is a fully revised edition of a book originally published as Sins of the Night.

About the Author

Devyn Quinn lives in the scenic Southwest, though she has called several other states home. She is a huge fan of dark gothic music & shoot-’em-up action movies. But reading is her first love and Devyn spends too much time with history books, as well as feeding her addiction for celebrity biographies. She especially enjoys reading books on Hollywood before the 1960s and is crazy about Marilyn Monroe, her legend and her myth.

Adian used to be a vampire hunter. Then two vampires - Devon and Lilith came after him for killing a female vampire - Ariel and turned Adian into a vampire. Ariel’s sister kept Adian as a slave for a long time’ Then Adian gets a chance and kills Lilith and goes on a quest to kill Devon. Devon now has a wife and an unborn child and hopes he can protect them. On the way to find Devon Adian saves a human girl- Cassie from an abusive situation. Cassie is rich and alone and is also attracted to Adian and he to her. I liked this story quiet a bit. It was a complex story and had a problem deciding who to root for. The ending was not believable and I would have liked that different. The writing also seemed a little off to me. So I liked this but it wasn’t one of my favorites. I would have liked to given it a 3.5 I did like the ins and outs. I received an Arc of this story for an honest review.

This novel had me torn in all different directions. Right of the bat the author throws us into the action with Adrien’s turning. I didn’t expect it to be so sexual, but within pages, I was had to stop to take a breath. Half of the time, I wasn’t sure who I was rooting for, however. Both the characters and story were so complex, there was no black and white about it. An intense read to be sure.

I'm not sure what I can say about this episode that won't ruin it! It was fabulous, as they all have been. But this one in particular pulled at my heart strings. Quinn has definitely wrapped me around Lirium. I just love his character and really want him to have some kind of happy ending. But this episode, oh, it made me so sad. I mean, how much more heart ache and tragedy can Lirium handle before he breaks in two? I hope enough to get him through. Let's just say that I'm interested to see where he will go and what he will do after he gets there! Lirium definitely hits a turning point in this book.  This is a fast paced episode. I really flew through this one. The only reason I didn't finish it in one sitting was because I get up way too early for work and my eyes were closing! Two weeks can't come fast enough!
