One of the best parts of this book is the editor's own contribution of helpful hints on how to travel with children. She discusses how to plan a trip with children; what to take for nutrition, safety, and entertainment; and how to handle children at hotels, restaurants, and resorts. The remainder of the book is a compilation of articles and contributions by various other travel writers who reveal specific sites that may be of interest to children. The articles span the main regions of the United States, as well as specific destinations in Europe, Asia, Africa, Canada, and Mexico. Also included are some extremely helpful articles on how to take children camping, skiing, trekking, and on a cruise. The book has a wealth of information for parents and contains an excellent bibliography. For public libraries.-Melinda Stivers Leach, Precision Editorial Svcs., Wondervu, Col.
