Must have a strong stomach In case you didn’t read the title, it’s called The Feeder. That should tell you what to expect. This novel is very violent and some of the characters’ treatment of women is downright vile. But they have to be so that their punishment is well deserved. I have a pretty strong stomach and I’m a fan of Saw and The Collector as well as the Dexter books (and series). Yet when I read Camille’s Diary, I had to stop. I was revolted by her treatment and that shows how well this author writes. I always judge a book by how it makes me feel. If I laugh, cry or want to kick the S##T out of someone, it’s a great book. And believe me, you will want to see a couple of guys get what they deserve. I have read so many books, I can usually predict where it’s going. Not so with this one. I had a few surprises along the way. I especially liked the ‘second’ half of the book, where you really understand Sammie. Not a book I typically read, but I’m glad I did.
