Overview

Have you ever had a goal that you gave up on because of an obstacle? Or maybe even multiple obstacles? Would you like to help the children in your life learn techniques for achievement that they can apply to the real world? You're never too young to learn that perseverance toward a goal is important for achievement.

Discover the third book in a new character-building children's series.

In The Follow Through Karate Kids, Makoto and Michi have a dream of painting a mural in their karate school. But the Quitting monster keeps getting in their way. They wrestle against Quitting, but this monster keeps beating one or both of these friends. Will Makoto and Michi learn to overcome obstacles? Can these kids apply their karate values in order to beat Quitting and accomplish their goal?

This fully-illustrated character-building book includes:

-A glossary of important words to help start the conversation on perseverance.

-Examples of five common real-world obstacles that cause people to quit.

-A weird but not-too-scary monster embodying a negative character trait.

-Concepts clearly presented in kid-friendly text and illustrations.
