This book is AWESOME! Using the techniques in this book enabled my wife and I both to receive multiple job offers with very good benefits and incomes. My wife received a job offer a few months ago by implementing the simple techniques in the Fort Living Room Transistion Course and I recently interviewed with several major retailers. You wouldn't believe the offers I received. In one case I received two offers from the same interview and this to a person with almost no retail experience. I encourage everyone, especailly those with military experience, to get and study this book. I've referred it to all of my family and friends. Those who apply the information won't regret it.

My transition was not from the military to civilian life but from the academic to the industrial world. This book is full of useful tips and hints on constructing an excellent resume and how to go about the job search. Simultaneously it provides ways to take real life experiences and turn them into quantifiable bullets on your resume. I would highly recommend this book to anyone, military or not, who is getting ready to start a job hunt or change careers.
