100 5-Star Reviews for the unrelentingly fast paced espionage thriller book
The Fourteenth Protocol
"Ripe with SUSPENSE, ESPIONAGE, and RIVETING ACTION...preys upon our worst fears: Terrorism in our own backyard. I've found a new Brad Thor espionage book collection....characters on the climb in over their head, a spy series thriller novel that keeps you guessing and an ending that will leave you hungry for more."
--- Michael Lucker, Screenwriter to Paramount, Disney, DreamWorks, Fox, Universal
"CONSPIRACY wrapped by INTRIGUE AND SUSPENSE, then TIED IN KNOTS."

"The heroine in peril, Jana Baker, is such a strong female lead character. She's scared but has the guts of any male special agent. Makes for one of the great thriller books to read."
"The plot is a mix of James Bond, 24, and Call of Duty."
--- Russ Atkinson, Special Agent, FBI (ret.), thriller book author.
"I am going to blow off work so I can finish reading this spy mystery series. No joke. An intrigue novel that has New York Times bestseller list 2015 written all over it."
"One of the best mystery thriller authors...author has hit this one out of the park. One of the best terrorism crime novels I've read in years. Can't wait until this thriller is made into a CIA spy thriller series."
"...a mystery book with an edge of your seat quality that keeps you sucked in."
"...definitely a 2016 bestseller."
"I really hope this kind of thing doesn't happen in real life. A government conspiracy that leads all the way to the white house, a rogue CIA agent...and just one FBI special agent to stop it."
"Terrorism, suspense, gunfire, romance...all with a strong female lead character. What else are you looking for? Rivals the New York Times bestsellers by, Brad Thor, or David Baldacci..."
"This book is like a Jody Foster / FBI special agent Clarice Starling in Silence of the Lambs without the lunatic psycho...faced with death and a white house government conspiracy. If this book doesn't become one of the bestselling mysteries out there, I don't know what would."

This book really resonated with me. The story was very unusual and imaginative, but realistic. The characters were well developed and quite likeable. The writing was so good I quickly developed a bond with the characters and had emotional reactions to their experiences. This is the most engrossing and exciting book I have read recently, and I ascribe my feelings to the excellent style of writing. To me the book was as much about Cade Williams as Jana Baker, so I hope he will appear in number 2, along with Cool Mac.
The theme of this book was very relevant to issues we face today, terrorism within our own country. The characters were easy to get involved with and by the end of the book I loved them all. Cade, the ordinary IT guy who never expected the twists and turns his life would take; Jana and Kyle, the FBI agents working against the clock to stop a terrorist attack. Jana, the strong woman competing in a man's world who you can't help but cheer on. The only thing I wish had been different was the difficult relationship between Cade and his military father. Overall, a book that held my interest and I found hard to put down.
FRESH!!! Brilliant!!! Amazing!!! Suspense!!! The 14th Protocol is well worth taking the time to try out a new author, like I did. Could the CIA be taking a page of the DEA playbook to bring down terrorist, like the DEA does with the drug cartels? Nathan sure made the convincing novel that they did. Computer geeks and FBI agents are on the case with the clocking ticking down. Americans have been killed by Big Brother, Agent Baker and gang are trying to save the day. Will they? One will have to read to find out… This novel is up there with the best in the genre. Nathan weaved a masterful story that has plenty of twist and turns of a true thriller. There are things in the novel that made me ask why that scene or detail are in the novel, then Nathan answered my question later on. The bread crumbs made this novel. The characters all had their places and played them well. One will keep cheering on the good guys to find the next clue. Some of the reviews have had issues with the ending. My response would be: Get Over It!!! It was perfect for this pulse pounding novel. Nathan is a Fresh voice in this genre. He wrote a tale that could very well happen today. The values, sense of honor and a true portrait of the world we live in today. Awesome Novel Nathan!!!! Be sure to watch for the loons….
Good story but ending sucked. Author claimed if you signed up he would send you a sequal that told the rest of the story but he lied. Hence the one star rating.
