A spiritual tsunami is sweeping the world.

We are living in a new era of missions. God has been at work in the world from history's beginning and is advancing the good news of Jesus Christ globally, leading to a thrilling climax.

Combining four decades of fieldwork with cutting-edge research, Ron Boehme charts the waves of missions in history and reveals how the fourth wave will be unlike anything the world has ever seen. No matter who you are or what you do, it is time to take your place in the fresh missional task of the church.

"Required reading for anyone who wants to know why Christianity was able to expand globally in the past, and how it is likely to continue its exciting journey in the years ahead."
—David Aikman, former Time magazine correspondent; author of Jesus in Beijing

"A visionary look at the acts of the Holy Spirit in this era of missions history. . . . You will be blessed by it!"
—Paul Eshleman, vice president, Campus Crusade for Christ International

"Good-bye to antiquated, even hindering, methods, models, and vocabulary. Welcome to the life-giving river that flows everywhere it is needed, and under no other control but God's."
—Dean Sherman, author of Relationships and Spiritual Warfare for Every Christian
