Overview

The Fox and the Wolf by Michael A Rockwell, Shelby Westlake

My name is Wolf. Three months ago I met this mysterious woman named Vi. She was born with fox ears and a tail to match. We don't know where she came from, or what she is.
All we know is that it's my responsibility to take care of her now. Something's hunting her though. Something dangerous.
I don't know if I'll be able to stop it.

The Fox and the Wolf a lot can be said for a book that I would consider a short read and the first published work of a new author. for people like me who can read large books at a fast rate. I myself have finished "Good Omens" in one night. though it may be a little difficult for beginner readers it is a good choice for 8th grade and up. the book does have a few grammar mistakes that are easily overlooked if you look at the context of the story. it is a book that is easy to get lost in and a great summer read to bring to the beach even if it is set in winter. the story is about a play write by the name of Wolf who unlike the animal he gets his name from likes nothing more then to be by himself. that is till a strange statue appears in his home overnight. this statue brings about a young woman named Vi. Heres the kicker Vi has fox ears and a tail something that could easily get her and people around her killed. though the story the two have to learn to live together Wolf becoming more social and Vi learning to open up. though it sounds simple the story flows nicely and is a great read that sucks you in and makes you only want to know more about this strange yet similar world and the people in them. sorry about spelling and grammar mistakes though i am a reader i and no writer.
