I lived the period at Illinois as a student when Plato was at it's peak and as an administrator at it's demise. Dear captures the big picture and minute detail faithfully, and reliving those times, the fun, the frustrations, and ultimate disaffection with "e-learning" was a greatly appreciated experience.
