Overview

Tara and Kyle come from completely different backgrounds but fate throws them together.

Kyle is damaged from the loss of his family. A series of bad decisions have left him working for the very criminals he once sought to put away. His heart is frozen and he cares about nothing, least of all himself.

Tara, given away by her mother when she was a child, has never known love.

Thrown together by circumstances, they soon realize that they need each other but are cruelly ripped apart.

Kyle must race against time to save Tara from the clutches of the man who controls her every move and who has kept the most devastating of betrayals until last.

This fast paced thriller takes you on a journey to the dark side of human nature.

Fate brought them together. Can The Game keep them apart?

Unfortunately, the first two reviews smelled suspiciously like "plants",making me waver between and 4 stars; rather insulting to one'siintelligence. The third review I thought was unduly critical and grossly over-simplified. Having said that, I thought it was fairly well written, engrossing from the prologue on. Some of the dialogue felt a little repetitive and stilted and I felt that the beginning of their meeting and relationship was rather simplified.

I usually take into consideration other reviews, however this time I did'nt. Happily, the book was worth it. I enjoyed it so much I ordered all of the others by this author. Recommend to all.

Just terrible. The dialogue was awful. The writing was 8th grade level at best. Many sentences started with "that". The plot in general is unrealistic. Events moved way too fast with little to no explanation. Only consolation was that it was free.

Not terribly well-written, but the chapters were short enough for me to slog my way through the choppy dialogue and unrealistic story line. The only thing recommending this book is that it was free.
