This was the best of the three Nocture Falls books. Nick is a sweetie and I could picture him so clearly and the addition of going into the fairy kingdom was right up my alley! Super writing. All of them. I highly recommend this series and trust me....I am picky when it comes to what is really well written and what laggs behind. Five stars! M.Cunningham in Wvv

Nick and Wills are wonderful. Warmth, discovery, love and caring for each other. Heavy sigh. ADVENTURE AND Happy Endings Galore.

I really like this series and the entire world the author has built. Now I want to see the gargoyles move around town, they could stay "anamatronic" by being on wheels that the tourists think are time set or sonething.

Really good ,cute story. Third book and I love how the individual crisis each couple faces is new and none I've read before. I love how we see them face challenges and grow to respect each other more and more. Can't wait to read the next book.

Fae and Gargoyles. What an astounding adventure, adored it! Nocturne Falls continues to amaze me. I love the neighborly citizens, and the underground tunnels, so awesome. It doesn’t matter who or what you are, they protect their own. Willa has some serious magic skills, most of which she doesn’t even know about or understand. She definitely has the flight as opposed to fight gene. She is more extraordinary than she can imagine, but not just the magic, she has a truly special heart. Willa can create all kinds of jewelry and she can add magic to help the wearer with whatever they want. The Ellinghams like having her in Nocturne Falls and this is the longest that she has stayed anywhere. She has hidden strength and a stubbornness that most don’t see. Nick is such a soldier. He has such a strong sense to protect, not just Willa but everyone who lives with injustice. Although Nick is strong he is also torn by the past of his kind and the loss of his parents. He is extremely brave and yet he enjoys taking care of Willa & her cat. His gentleness is striking. Nick although strong and a outstanding fighter, he has a genetic weakness that puts him and Willa in serious danger. Willa’s grows so much in this story. We have been seeing her since Book 1, it is wonderful to now know her, her story and see her find love. Willa must forgive her parents to save Nick’s life and her own. She learns that her parents are sorry for the past, and Willa gets to know her brother and sisters, when she returns to her Fairy home with Nick. I enjoyed their story, especially like the description of the Fairy home and how they got back to returned to Nocturne Falls. My rating is 5 butterflies. This series is remarkable and I find that I enjoy each book more and more. I can’t wait to read the next book, The Professor Woos the Witch. This is a Guest Review for Baroness' Book Trove. Nick & Willa don't disappoint readers. I received an ARC from the Author/Publisher in exchange for an honest review. I have long loved Kristen Painter's work. Getting the opportunity to read one of her books prior to it's release is treat. Kristen is a brilliant writer, and with all her other works I've read, this one is up to her usual standards and doesn't disappoint. Book 3 of the Nocturne Falls series follows Willa the Fae Jeweler of the town and Nick a Gargoyle resident with a new job at the park fountain. Unwittingly Willa conscripts Nick's help when she makes a wish using opal she had in her pocket in the fountain while touching what she thinks is a new statue. Nick & Willa get along quite well, and their story is filled with more than a little bit of fae magic. I won't ruin the story, but if you liked VMOB or WMHM (Nocturne Falls 1 & 2) you will love this book too. With every book Kristen writes, I am more convinced she's an immortal. I have yet to figure out what type, but I'll pry it out of her one way or another eventually. Romance: Mild behind closed doors Violence: Mild mostly off camera This book definitely gets 5 stars.

I really love this series!!! I love the idea of a place where it is Halloween year round. Willa is a good character although a few times I did want to smack her. Nick is the gargoyle that just sounds hot. There were a few scenes in the book that had my heart racing and I was on the edge of my seat keeping my fingers crossed that it would all turn out okay. This is a standalone, but the characters do refer back to the other two books. I just like to read books in order. I can not wait for the next book! I hope they all get their happily ever afters!

LOVE this series! This is such a great series; this is the third book in the Nocturne Falls series by Kristen Painter. Nocturne Falls is a small town that celebrates Halloween 365 days a year, which makes it easy for the supernatural people who live there to not hide who they are. This book can be read as a standalone, but once you read this one then you will want to go back and read them all. Willa Iscove is a fae jeweler; she believes that the ring she crafted for a customer has now turned him into her stalker. Nick Hardwin is a gargoyle and former Army Ranger who has recently moved to Nocturne Falls because he wants to settle down and have a home. His kind has always been against the fae because they have the power to hold and control a gargoyle. When Willa makes a wish in the fountain that Nick is guarding then he has no choice to help her. If you are looking for a great paranormal romance with suspense, then you need to read this book. I can’t wait until the next book in this series comes out. A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.
