About the Author

Matthew Bartlett, resident of the state of Connecticut, is considered by some the expert on the Battle of Gettysburg around town. He received his degree from Western Connecticut State University in the field of Music with a minor in History and since then has studied the American Civil War. Constantly reading books about Gettysburg, he realized that no one author had fully talked about the entire field and he took it upon himself to complete that objective. Matthew is currently a Master's student at the American Military University majoring in Military History with a specialization in Civil War studies.
