The Gift Is You by Dr. David L. Wolf, Connie Hurn

On a summer day in 2001, accomplished OB/GYN physician David Wolf indulged in his passionate hobby, adult go-kart racing. During a race David swerved his go-kart and slammed into a concrete retaining wall. Within minutes an ambulance rushed him to the nearest hospital.

So began Davids adventure with God to overcome adversity. His inspiring story reveals how faith, prayer, friendship, and Gods sovereign care provides assurance and hope for a life that makes a difference.

Read this compelling, hard-to-put-down account of Dr. Wolf’s circumstances only if you want to be inspired, humbled, and lifted up. With a deep love for God and passion for His people, Dr. Wolf writes about His peace. It may surprise you, but it didn’t surprise him. You’ll find yourself wondering why you don’t have it when He does. Your response to His story and the truths he embeds can be life changing. I hope it is. If you are discouraged and overwhelmed by consequences due to decisions you’ve made or things you’ve done or not done, read this book! It’s for you. Or, are you someone who helps others move through their challenges? The book is for you, too. You’ll smile as you read about Dr. Wolf pulling the pig on a leash up the hill in Haiti. You’ll nod in agreement when you read about his wife’s advice. You may audibly gasp here and there. I’m confident you’ll think about much as you encounter Dr. Wolf and his passions. After reading the book, you probably won’t look at yourself, others, or God the same ever again. Let these truths transform your beliefs so you’re encouraged. Then be the encouragement someone else needs.
