Overview

The book is in the Russian language. It is a sincere, very informative, and fun to read story of a Russian teacher of English language, who came to the USA with a 45-day student's visa to brush up her American English language skills, and unexpectedly got married after three weeks.
Zoia's story starts with the description of her adventurous way of coming to the USA, when her suitcase was lost between Europe and America during her flight, then continues telling about her no less adventurous marriage, and her optimistic ways of adjustment to a new culture. The chapters of the book were published in Russia and in the USA. A reader, who opens the book, will not want to put it down until he or she finishes reading. The book is written in a beautiful Russian language, with captivating humor and fine irony of an energetic Russian educator, who laughs at her own mistakes and difficulties in a new country of residence.
