The Girl with More Than One Heart is a work of fiction. It is about a girl named Briana who lives with her mother, father, and brother. She goes through some difficult times and feels like she has more than one heart beating inside her. Her father, who is her favorite parent, dies. She doesn’t know if her friends are really her friends. On top of all that, she has to meet the needs of her little brother. I loved the descriptive writing in this book. One of my favorite parts was the description of Briana’s friend Daisy’s room. I really loved everything about this book. It was definitely a page turner for me. I think girls 9 to 12 years old would like this book. Review by Aubrey L., Age 9, Greater NYC Mensa
