The author clearly shows an in-depth view on the ups and downs on child caring for foster parents. She also opens the readers eyes to the horrible abuse and neglect to children that become a part of the system. It is heartbreaking that this is a common offense in every country. More needs to be done to prevent these children from being subject to this abuse. The penalty for child abuse needs to be much stricter. Bless you Mrs. Hart for taking these poor children in and trying to give them some normalcy of a good life.
