About the Author
Elyn Joy is the author of The Gluten Free Parent's Survival Guide's first edition (2019) and her new release, The Gluten-Free Teen's Survival Guide. When her own daughter was diagnosed with celiac disease as a child, she began her journey towards learning every "hack" possible for ensuring a healthy, flourishing childhood--both in the physical and the psychological/social sense. In addition to this book, Elyn Joy has appeared in various Gluten-Free-oriented magazines, sites, and blogs. She has appeared with Children's Hospital for celiac education and awareness. Elyn has published four children's books, including the step-reader Once Upon a Pigeon and Other Retold Fables (CR Success, 2014 & 2019), and Everyone Has a Point of View (2018), along with numerous other educational writings and books. She currently lives with her husband, almost-grown children, and quirky cats in Denver, Colorado.
