About the Author
Elyn Joy is the author of The Gluten Free Parent's Survival Guide's first edition (2019) and has been helping parents of children with celiac and other gluten intolerances for years. When her own daughter was diagnosed as a child, she began her journey towards learning every "hack" possible for ensuring a healthy, flourishing childhood--both in the physical and the psychological/social sense. Edyth (her daughter) is now a vibrant college student in Vermont; this book will show you how she got there with ease and safety. In addition to sharing her favorite recipes and personal reflections, she shares many a silver lining to the gluten-free experience. In addition to this book, Elyn Joy has published two children's books, including the step-reader Once Upon a Pigeon and Other Retold Fables (CR Success, 2014 & 2019), and Everyone Has a Point of View (2018), along with numerous other educational writings and books. She currently studies and writes between London and Denver, Colorado.
