I would really like to read it but I can't open it, downloaded several times. I am surprised B&N still offers it. You would think they would pull it until the problem is solved. I wonder if anyone at Halcyon ever tested the file on a Nook before offering it. And, I wonder if B&N will ever officially respond to the problem.

Cannot open this book - would love to read it and actually review it's contents, but, as others have posted before me, it will not open, and the nook sits idle for a long, long, long time.

I purchased this ebook the evening of Oct. 6, 2010. When I tried to open it, the Nook would sit there with the message "Opening your book", and nothing would happen. I tried all the suggestions one could find on the web: do a complete power shutdown; archive and then unarchive; etc. After working on the problem for 2 days, I visited my local Barnes and Noble. They were very helpful, and spent 45 minutes repeating everything I had done. Then they tried to open the book on one of their Nooks, and found it wouldn't open either. They believe there is a problem at the publisher's end, which they believe will be resolved soon. This looks like a very good book. I gave it one star merely because I have yet been unable to open it.

This book takes about 10 minutes to open, and appears to be seriously slowing down my ability to searchin my nook.

It loaded fine on my PC, but not my nook.

Like others I'm experiencing inordinate load times (haven't gotten it open yet).

I found three books from this publisher that I really would like to have read. Unfortunately none of them will open. I had thought it might be due to the size of the files, but other books I have downloaded that are equally large are fine. All three of these hang up my Nook, and the only way I can get out of it is to turn the device off. I tried going through the techs with the first one, but nothing worked. I went to check a review of one of the books, only to discover that everyone who downloaded the book had that problem. This reader was told it is a problem on the publisher's end and once it gets solved, the books will open. So now I have three books that look great and enticing, but can't get open. I'm only giving this one star, but I'm sure I'd rate it higher if I could read it.

This book had some very interesting stories that I had been looking for for a long time. It was too bad the paging software left me stuck a hundred pages short of the end of the book. Now only one page is viewable and none of the fixes works this time! Restarting your Nook from a "hard" shutdown frequently might prevent that. Overall, a good read, but a little frustrating .

I got my Nook for this series. Do not be ripped off! The entire navigation is a jumbled mess. Page one is not page one. Page two is page 60 or 182 depending on its mood. Pages 2-59 are inaccessable. Table of contents takes you to random parts of the book in the middle of a story.
