The Gone Trilogy by Stacy Claflin

Macy Mercer only wants a little independence. Eager to prove herself grown up, she goes to a dark, secluded park. She's supposed to meet the boy of her dreams who she met online. But the cute fifteen year old was a fantasy, his pictures fake. She finds herself face to face with Chester Woodran, a man capable of murder.

Distraught over his own missing daughter, Chester insists that Macy replace his lost girl. He locks Macy up, withholds food, and roughs her up, demanding that she call him dad. Under duress from his constant threats and mind games, her hold on reality starts to slip. Clinging to her memories is the only way of holding onto her true identity, not believing that she is Chester's daughter. Otherwise she may never see her family again.

About the Author

I love writing, reading, and watching most anything. My favorite shows include Supernatural, The Walking Dead, Vampire Diaries, Pretty Little Liars, and Once Upon a Time.

I've been writing and telling stories for as long as I can remember. As a kid, my story telling would get me into trouble when I would try to convince others that my stories were real.

When I'm not busy writing, I spend time with my family. I also educate my kids from home.

I couldn't put this book down. I loved it. I think it's a great eye opener on social media and who we trust. I just bought Dean's List. Can't wait to get started.

The only reason i didnt give this book a 5 star rating was due to the terrible proof reading/editing. Loved this story. Excellent book.

I really enjoyed reading this book. All the characters were very relatable. The only down side was that the book had some syntax errors and just needed one more edit.

I hate that the story ended although mostly for the younger reader I so enjoyed the series. Kept me on the edge of my seat many times and hanging on every word. Wonderful Author

I got this book set for free almost a year ago and finally read it. I was surprised at how amazing it was and how quickly I fell into the story and not wanting to put it down. Aside from grammar issues it was an incredibly wonderful book series.

The author did an excellent job of maintaining the flow of the primary storyline, while switching through the viewpoints of the various characters
