The author gives a direct, accurate, picture of this Gnostic text. Joseph Lumpkin does not bog it down with comments on its significance or spiritual relavence. He assumes that you are intelligent enough to make up your own mind! A great book for anyone who enjoys reading spiritual works.
Beginning with a quick history lesson and ending in an eye-opening view of the overall meaning of the book, this was a very good read. Here we have the Coptic and Greek texts translated side by side in direct, understandable phrasing. Related verses from the Bible are included for each applicable verse. This is a well written work.
