Good God was that a good book. I cried, I laughed, and I cried some more. So very hard to put down. I hope this gets turned in a series because I want to know what happens next. If you love a mystery this book is for you. And let me tell you it is full of them. Great work!
The Guardian Shadowstone by Angela Aaron- 5 stars I don't care for this type of story. Fantasy. But I kept reading when I found out it was in Scotland. I fell in love with Rebecca and Cailen. The longer I read I couldn't stop. The author did a wonderful job and knows everything Scottish.
I received an ARC for an honest review. This was one of the coolest books I’ve read in a long time….I adore everything Scottish, and this book had it all!!! This story definitely had awesome historical research, magic, danger, interesting characters and most of all, one hot Guardian!!! Rebecca and Cailen, are thrown together as she searches for her missing mother, who is somewhere in Scotland. There is a cryptic letter and a necklace holding a strange stone, left to Rebecca by her missing Mother. She travels to Scotland, and ends up in an old Inn. Rebecca needs to find answers, and begins questioning the locals. When Cailen shows up, she is intrigued, especially since there seems to be an instant attraction. They are both strong willed and must face multiple obstacles to find the answers they are seeking. This book kept me engaged and I did not put it down until I finished it!!!. Congratulations Angela…it was a wonderful book, and I can’t wait until the next one is written.
