Fantastic book for new runners.  I'm just starting and this book gave me great insight into equipment, preparation, and training techniques.  The beginner training session might be easy for some, but not me!  The nutritional information in the diet chapter was packed with information on what to eat before, during, and after running, as well.

I found this book to be very helpful, though I'm a new runner.  The information on aerobic capacity and diet was extremely useful - as were the training schedules (admittedly, I'm only on the Beginner schedule).

Bought this to improve my selftaught training techniques. Training tables aren't viewable past Wednesday. Some table heading are labelled incorrectly. Hyperlinks to printable documents wouldn't open. Would rare 3 or 4 stars if tools worked.
