cute idea - but nearly impossible to read aloud- pictures were cute - but seemed like writer was more interested in making rhymes than creating a story...

The happy hippopotami/On the sunny beach do lie/And fill the pockets of the britches/With gooey jelly sandy-wiches! This is what I would call a lesser-known classic book, fun to read for both adults and kids, with silly rhymes and engaging and bright illustrations.
