Healing Garden Music: Sleep Well bears little difference to the other new age music-inspired volumes in the series. It too features the work of Roland Hanneman, who turns in a typically formless set informed heavily by the contemporary instrumental genre's most basic templates. This certainly is soothing music. However, even while trying to sleep, isn't it important to have something upon which to focus? Sleep Well offers little more than hissing synthesizers and the occasional turn toward classical guitar plucking -- with each piece running blandly into the next, buying a white-noise machine might be a better option.
