Another book that I read that I was apprehensive because I didn't love the book that came before it in the series and thank goodness was surprised. Faith Dustin is one of the three sisters that was featured in the book - A Cold Creek Christmas Story. She is the oldest of the three and like her sisters has been through a lot. This is the love story between her and a life long friend and it is the sweetest most perfect love story! Beware in this romance story there is little sexy times, so if you like to read romance books for that, this one won't work for you. Instead this book is will they won't they cuteness and I liked the innocence of it. Because I loved this one so much, I am looking forward to finishing out the three sisters and reading the final one in this series within a series. I am not sure I will continue on in this small Idaho town, but I will definitely finish this family's stories.

Two great Christmas holidays stories by a best selling author. RaeAnne Thayne has a way of making the characters in her books come alive. The plots are realistic and interesting. It was great to again meet family members from earlier books as they mature and add children to their lives. LA-TXN

Two amazing stories in one book - doesn't get much better! The Holiday Gift - Another winner from RaeAnne Thayne! While I love all her books I especially enjoy her holiday stories and this one definitely didn't disappoint. This is a wonderful story of a second chance at happiness for Faith Dustin. The oldest of the three Nichols sisters, her and her two children have been living and working at the family "Christmas Ranch". She longs for peace and quiet when chaos and craziness surrounds her. Thank goodness for her neighbor Chase Brannon. He's the one person that seems to understand her. He's always been a great friend but that changes one night with a kiss under the mistletoe. Chase has loved Faith for most of his life. He blew it big time when he was younger and now that she is available again he doesn't want to do anything to blow it again. Then that kiss!! Chase is determined to get Faith to give him a chance and soon he has the whole family in on it! A Cold Creek Noel - I've enjoyed all the Cold Creek books and I was happy to finally read Caidy's story. After years of pain it was heartwarming to read about her finally finding the love and family she deserved. For years she's lived a very sheltered life but with the arrival of the new vet, Dr. Ben Caldwell and his two young children, Caidy finds herself wanting to face the world again and if all goes well she may just find the love and family she's always wanted.

I have only read The Holiday Gift at this writing. For Faith, Chase has always been that best friend, the one who never lets you down. When Chase wants more, Faith is determined to not go down that road. She doesn't want to ruin the friendship they have. When Chase kisses her under the mistletoe, she can't help but feel more though. With Faith's children helping him, Chase does his best to get Faith to be open to love, with him. Wow, what an amazing story! It kept me hooked from beginning to end. Highly recommend it!

Chase has loved Faith since he met her. He waited patiently for her through so much and now he is done waiting. He let Faith know they were going on a date. Chase is Faith's best friend, she doesn't want anything to mess that up. She isn't sure she will ever let anyone into her heart again and it isn't fair to let Chase think she might be ready to move on after her husband's death. She doesn't think she could take the pain if something happened. Chase has been so patient, but it appears that his patience is at an end. What will she do?

loved both of these special Christmas stories. The Holiday gift is a sweet story about first loves and second chances. Add in children and it makes for a heartwarming Christmas but not without some bumps along the way. Laughed, cried and ended with warmth of the season. A Cold Creek Noel is a story about two damaged people finding each other but not wanting to. The hea is inevitable but the journey? Pure magic. If you love Christmas stories as much as I do, this double header is a win-win!

This sweet Christmas story is short but full of heart. It involves the eldest of three sisters, Faith Nichols. Her younger sisters have both found love but Faith is a widow who is afraid of giving her heart away again. Chase is the good looking rancher that lives next door and is Faith's best friend. He's ready to take their relationship to the next level as he's loved Faith for years. However, Faith is doing everything in her power to push him away, even going so far as to suggest he date someone else! I enjoyed this quick read but was frustrated with Faith, she knew what a great guy Chase was and he made it very clear what he was looking for. It took him almost walking away for her to open her heart to him and realize he was, indeed, the love of her life.
