About the Author
Joe M. Dominguez is an average Joe. He kind of grew up in a city fixing up his father’s homes and properties. His jobs consisted of everything from repairing windows to plumbing, floor tiles, toilets, roofing, and helping his mother in the kitchen and throughout the house. . While going through high school his first paying job was working for a restaurant (of course all of the dirty jobs). His second job was working for O’Malley Lumber Company in Glendale Arizona where he did all jobs that no one wanted to do. He decide that this life was not for him. That education was the way to go. He went to Arizona State University and joined the Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC). He was commissioned and received a Second Lieutenant rank. He served 20 years in the Army and retired as a Major; his last duty station was Maputo Mozambique. Currently he is an educator (2 master degrees from California State University, San Bernardino, California); and working for Riverside Poly High School in Riverside California. During this time he has seen and been involved in what it takes to maintain good buildings and classroom practices.
