Good story , however the main characters have too many problems to be likable. Yes she's cute, he's handsome and the child is adorable. Many conversations and much conflict, so the villain comes across as not significant to the storyline .

Good mystery, clean read. Can't wait to read the next book in series.

Repetitive and drawn out

I love how the author was really able to get across the mindset of a wounded child, even one that's all grown up. Beautiful story of how your childhood doesn't dictate how you will turn out, no matter what others may think. I will definitely read the others in this series.

It is a mystery with a little of everything and just enough characters to make you curious about the town.

Not a mystery. This is a romance novel, with a slight mystery attached. Way too much inner dialogue within both primary adult characters about each other (how attractive the other one is, how they don't want romantic involvement but can't help it, the usual tripe). Deleted off Nook.

I really enjoyed this book! The story is great and it is also a clean read, with a great mystery to it! Camilla Stewart thought she was really making it having gotten her accounting degree and a job in a top firm, then she and the company was ripped off by her now ex fiancé. Before the deceit though she has adopted his 8 year old son and they wind up in Pajarno Bay, in a quaint house that he had purchased for them before he disappeared! She has a past and had tried to do all things right to get beyond it, but with her ex having done this to her, she is wondering! This is a great read, I do not like give away the keys to a story, you will have to read it yourself and enjoy!

Yeah. I couldn't finish this and it was free. I'm normally a fan of the cozy genre, but between the stilted dialogue and the general unlikability of everyone involved, this is a hard pass.

I loved reading Camilla, Oliver and Ryan's story. Very well written.
