Although I have never really been around horses this story truly captured my interest and attention. An endangered herd of horses which holds the entire historical lineage of horse and man being hunted to the verge of extinction. A connection which transcends time reaching out in hopes of survival. Will the history of Horse and Man be extinguished and lost forever? Who is behind this horrific act? Can they be saved? A roller coaster of love, hate, deceit, myth and tradition underly the ever forcing facts which threatens centuries old bonds of humans and horses. When I first heard of this book it sounded interesting. Once I began reading, it became intrigue and then obsession. Although not an avid reader of novels I would find I was spending time whenever, wherever I could to continue reading this book.
