Not only is this book a great mystery, it also teaches history. I read this book every year with my class of fifth graders and they love the book. The book is challenging, but it also offers a wide variety of skills to be learned!! The students are so enthralled, they don't even realize that they are learning figurative language!! If you walk away understanding the book, you'll love it!!
