Overview

Members of a rock group hiking in the Himalayas discover an ancient manuscript which gives them clues on how to compose songs to unlock within themselves the spirits of certain beasts.  When they sing the songs they realize to their horror that they cannot control the spirits.

He attended the 1973 Clarion West science fiction writing workshop and is a member of Science Fiction Writers of America.
